Comic Con
Robert Dowey enters Comic Con wearing the Iron Man glove. This helps promote the film.
Merchandise
There was a competition on gamefreaks.co.nz, where you had the chance to win similar sunglasses that Tony Stark wore in the film, and two passes to the Iron Man set.
Iron Man suits are available to buy on the Internet, in places like amazon.
There are also various types of clothing, such as tops, dresses, shorts, hats etc.
Iron Man lunch boxes are also available to buy, this is aimed at the younger generation.
McDonalds power meal deal
McDonalds were offering a 'Power Meal' that comes with an Iron Man 3 poster. This meal was available before and during the time that the film was in cinema.
This is a good example of synergy, as it promotes both McDonalds and Iron Man 3.

Iron Man 3 poster
This is a poster to advertise Iron Man 3. This was probably one of the first posters to be placed around in public, as this doesn't tell you exactly what film it is, nor who is going to be in the production. This poster grabs peoples attention and might make them wonder what it is about if they are not familiar with the Iron Man mask.
The dark clouds already give us an idea that the film might include action, as the clouds indicate that a storm is about to brew.
The short caption also give us a clue to the narrative.
Here is a poster that was released after the trailers etc. This immediately shows who the main character is with the image of Robert Downey JR, as well as their names at the top. The title for the film is also advertised a alongside with the production companies etc.
The image looks like it has been taken in a middle of an action film. This helps show what the film may involve.

Top three swedes
I found this swede of The Dark Knight on you tube, and as a huge batman fan i thought this was the best swede i came across. I thought that they achieved eash scene accurately. They used many effective props, that helped identify the film, such as the buildings at the begining, the batman outfit, the batmobile, and the jokers makeup. The person who played the Joker did a pretty good job in portraying his character. They also added slight humour to the clip by using a grown man for the child.
I also liked the Jurassic Park swede, as you could clearly see that they thought about the props. I found it easy to identify each character from their costumes. The costumes for the dinosaurs made the clip a slight comedy. The music was created by themselves, this also added slight humour to it.
I think that this swede was very successful as there was a good use of props, and each shot was thought out properly. You could easily identify each character.
